Children’s Miracle Network Hospital

What is Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals?

Support Midland and Odessa Children! More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital like your local children’s hospital across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support. As Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $5 billion. Most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

Marie Osmond, John Schneider, Mick Shannon and Joseph G. Lake founded what is known today as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. In 1983 by organizing a telethon that raised nearly $4.8 million for 22 children’s hospitals. Today, CMN Hospitals helps 10 million sick and injured kids treated at 170 member hospitals across North America.

Due to generous community support, the annual “B93 Jams for Kids and KBAT Rocks for Kids” Radiothons raise thousands of dollars for the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. These donations fund critical equipment, services, and charitable care to save and improve the lives of kids.

Townsquare Media will host the two-day event Sept. 6 – 7 but listeners can tune in to KBAT 99.9 FM and B93 (KZBT) 93.3 AM, or listen online at www.kbat.com and www.b93.com.

The local radiothon with Townsquare has been going since 2015. All money raised during the radiothon stays right here in the Permian Basin to benefit children receiving care at your CMN hospital, Medical Center Hospital.
